Sarah is a leader in developing and sustaining community partnerships.  Sarah most recently served as the Rural Health Liaison for the Center for Healthy Communities at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

For the past eight years, Sarah has been a leader at the Medical College in supporting a community-academic partnership with a small community in east central Wisconsin, thus, extending the resources of the College beyond southeast Wisconsin.  A significant portion of the partnership efforts were funded with a federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services grant.  As part of the partnership, she has become skilled in identifying best practices, tracking data, documenting results and bringing those results back to the College.  Sarah also brings research and evaluation experience to the partnership.

Sarah has a Masters in Public Health and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, and is a past president of the Wisconsin Public Health Association.
